The history of KHD
Founded KHD
KHD was established in 2008. The company’s location was initially in a small workshop in the Chahardangeh Industrial Town. In the first two years, KHDCompany exclusively focused on the refurbishment of Japanese Aerial Work Platforms.
Production of the first Aerial worl platform
The first Truck mounted platform was produced in 2010 at KHD. This boom lift was the initial model KZ120, equipped with an articulated mechanism and had a maximum working height of 12 meters.
Production of truck mounted boom lift with 16m working height
The Model KZ160, KHD’s second produced product with a working height of 16 meters, was manufactured. This model utilized a telescopic articulated mechanism and was installed on chassis with a minimum gvw of 6 tons.
Diversification of products
Until this year, several new models have been added to KHD’s production line. Various types of telescopic, articulated, and Sccissor platform were being manufactured by KHD until that time.
Design and production of a new product.
The first 14-meter Aerial work platform with the capability to be installed on chassis with a minimum G.V.W 3.5 tons was manufactured in Iran. The Model KT140 was the only boom lift in Iran that had the capability to be installed on 3.5-ton trucks and pickup with a working height of 14 meters.
Hot line washing platform
In mid-2019, considering the needs of customers and the market, the hot line washing platform was designed and produced by KHD.This Aerial work Platform has an important application in washing high-voltage power lines and has power plant applications.
Production of Insulated truck mounted Boom lift
The insulated tracked platform KTI 170 Category C 46kV, is designed for working close to power lines. All booms are insulated with fibre glass sections which enables safe and manoeuvrable work. Type 2650 iRX is ANSI A92.2 compliant.
